
In 1972, Larry joined the legendary group known as Earth, Wind & Fire. He was referred by his long-time friend, Philip Bailey to Maurice White. For over eleven years Larry served and keyboard player for the group. As a member of Earth, Wind and Fire, Larry also performed with other notable artists such as, Ramsey Lewis, Caldera, Ronnie Laws, Lenny White, Chaka Khan, George Duke, Dee Dee Bridgewater, The Emotions, Deniece Williams, Stanley Turrentine, Morris Day, Level 42, Nathan East, Paulinho DaCosta, Dianne Reeves, and numerous other artists.
Throughout the years, Larry built a complete recording studio in his Los Angeles home, which grants him the opportunity to develop his unique artistry. At present, Larry can be found producing other acts, such as Reel Tight, and Luisa Dunn (his wife), and writing jingles for television, and etc.
Larry has also released his own Cd entitled, "Lover's Silhouette", which has received great reviews in both the United States and Europe.
In March 2000, Larry joined his former band members of Earth, Wind and
Fire (Maurice and Verdine White, Andrew Woolfolk, Johnny Graham, Al McKay,
Philip Bailey, and Ralph Johnson) to become inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall
of Fame.
